Ken and Lee attended the National Christmas Tree Association convention held in Pennsylvania Aug. 8-10th where the National Christmas Tree and Wreath contests were held. As 2018 MN State Fair Grand Champion, Happy Land was given the privilege to enter the national competition. Our Balsam Fir made it to the top 6 finalists in the nation and won 2nd place in the True Fir class. The grand champion is given the honor of supplying a tree to the White House and the reserve champion supplies a tree to the Vice President. We’ll try again in 2021 at the next contest!
